i know that the voice inside of my head
isn’t something to fear
i know that the future it prophesies
will never come true
i know that the voice inside of my head
is just trying to scare me
control me
i know the nightmares it creatively weaves
doesn’t define anything about me
but one thing that the voice inside of my head has convinced me on
is what if i’m the one that’s wrong
and it’s already won?
